My name is Souvik Basu, a result driven engineer with 19 years of progressive experience in steering Production Operations, Process, Project Management, Erection/Commissioning in Alumina industry. I am presently associated with Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. as an Associate General Manager. I enjoy extensive experience in steering project expansions by leading a team of high performance professionals and have demonstrated abilities in enhancing operational efficiency and cost advantages. I have proven competencies in improving productivity, profitability and operational performance by deploying innovative tools and processes. My areas of expertise include managing resources optimally, environmental concerns, safety and implementing reforms in the system. I have exposures in Experion PKS (Honeywell DCS), Allen Bradley DCS and proficient in C, Fortran-77, Lotus Notes.
