About Sovan Bun

Even before my graduation, my engineering career began as an Application Engineer intern at FLW Southeast in Marietta. In this internship, I worked with industrial measurement instrumentation as well as commercial sensor and process automation systems. Subsequently, at Transtechnik-USA, the division that specializes in POWER CONVERTERS for rail systems, I work closely with the engineering team analyzing test failures and documenting defects, providing the team with the information needed to diagnose and resolve product issues. Furthermore, I am involved in TEST and FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERING. Part of my field service responsibility is to provide on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of equipment and systems. As a systems tester, I have developed my communication skills as I relate with the production team on issues to ensure high quality and efficiency. Specialties: Power Inverter and Converter for Rail Applications. Currently, working at CSA Group, my role is independently performed testing and evaluation on a variety of products to the provisions of U.S, Canadian and other International product safety standards; writing reports; and communicating with clients. Specialties: Experienced with U.S, Canadian, and other International product safety standards, i.e, ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC, NEC, and CEC.
