Hi, I’m Sowjanya Bejawada, a Workday Technical Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of Workday integrations and HCM functionalities.Throughout my career, I’ve led end-to-end integration development, from requirement gathering and design sessions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, to building and deploying integrations, and providing post go-live support. My experience spans EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Boomerang integrations. I’m also proficient in leveraging Workday Web Services for advanced integration needs.In my development work, I use XML and XSLT extensively, and have recently adopted XSLT 3.0 for improved performance and streamable data processing. On the reporting side, I build advanced and custom reports, utilizing calculated fields to derive complex insights beyond Workday-delivered data.I also have strong functional knowledge in Workday Business Processes, Notifications Framework, Alerts, and Domain and Business Process Security. I’ve configured validation and step conditions, and managed security group creation and access management across various modules.Beyond project work, I take pride in leading knowledge-sharing sessions, conducting monthly team calls to discuss POCs, solutions, and updates. I also support the hiring process by interviewing candidates and helping evaluate technical capabilities for Workday roles.I’m passionate about clean architecture, efficient integration design, and fostering a collaborative, learning-driven team culture.
