About Spandan Joshi

It is my privilege to work for the medical industry as a Health Information Specialist for over 20 years. After completing my Bachelors in Medicine and MD (Masters) in Anaesthesiology, I worked as a Specialist Doctor for well over 12 years for the NHS. However, my fascination for technology drove me to get a second masters degree from City University (London), albeit in a very different faculty, Information Systems and Technology. With such a distinctive background, I’ve been working for the Health Care sector for the last 33 years, either as a Specialist Doctor or Health Information Specialist. From 2003, I’ve worked for CIMS (InfoFlex) as a Health Information Consultant, building bridges between clinical information management and its technical requirements. With over 15 years of experience, I specialise in designing and managing health care pathways and provide solutions to achieve data collection and analysis in an efficient and timely fashion. I immensely enjoy working with technologies where I can continue being dedicated to and passionate for both the Health Care and Technology industries, at one end working alongside Health Care workers and at the other bringing the correct solutions for the business problem. I have joined Civica UK in 2021 as an Health Care Implementation Consultant. Recently I have been promoted to 'Clinical Product Specialist' at Civica.
