About Spenser Staton

Researcher, consultant, business analyst, and audit manager are just some of the many titles and roles I have performed in business and government. Each stage of my professional career has built upon my communication skills and analytical problem-solving capabilities. I have developed and presented materials for quarterly corporate analyst briefings, employee and management training programs, and professional conferences, such as the IIA International Conference (Boston) in 2012. I have conducted and published original research on economic and tax policy issues, analyzed and summarized trends affecting company performance and earnings, and developed and implemented business process solutions for efficiency and enhanced internal controls. Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. I have often said I am a business translator who can quickly understand a business process or operation and explain it in terms familiar to accountants, IT professionals, or executives in order to analyze and develop business solutions that meet the needs of all the stakeholders.
