About Spike Beecham

I'm currently the Managing Director of The Music Consortium (TMC) and a Production Manager for Festival Republic (FR) at Leeds & Longitude Festivals (Dublin), Electric Picnic (Ireland), Lollapalooza (Berlin). In the last 12 months we've provided production services for shows with The Script (Leeds), Arcade Fire, The 1975, Green Day, Tom Jones, Liam Gallagher (All in Dublin). I've just been appointed Production Manager for the Belfast leg of The Biggest Weekend in May. TMC is an event support services company that specialises in supplying experienced technical support personnel to festivals, venues & corporate events in the Music & Entertainment industry worldwide. Since its inception as a supplier of Technical Service Personnel to the Leeds Festival, we have evolved into a top notch team supplying all manner of technical staff to meet our clients needs. We deliver these projects, large or small, on time, within budget, safely and efficiently. I'm Merseyside born, started my working life at Stanlow Refinery before quitting and moving on to Fashion Photography, PR, & Artist Management. After shooting PR photographs of Echo & the Bunnymen I was asked if I’d be interested in tour managing the band and before I knew what I’d agreed to I was in Italy looking after them. From there I moved into production management and toured the world with bands such as British Sea Power, The Cribs and produced shows for Tom Jones & Willie Nelson, among others. Around the same time I began working for The Mean Fiddler (now FR) as a Rep and then moved to their festival department, where via stage management, I became the site production manager for Leeds Festival. This led to work at other festivals such as Hove (Norway), Latitude & Longitude (UK & Ireland), Orlando Calling (USA), Electric Picnic (Ireland), Lollapalooza (Germany). With over 20 years of Music Industry experience I continue to Produce and Promote shows worldwide. Please get in touch if you think we can be of service.
