About Srdjan Stosic

I have been part of the IT industry and its changes since the end of last century – as consultant, trusted advisor and executive in CEE and MEA region; somehow my role was always to share the knowledge with my team or with customers and Microsoft partners. My passion for technology, love for public speaking and ability to understand business needs helped me to be recognized as the trusted advisor in the region. I have more than 30 technical and licensing Microsoft exams since the time when Modern Workplace was only Exchange 5.5 competing with Lotus notes. I was MCT for 15 years presenting on more than 50 Microsoft and community events. IN BRIEF: I do believe that to be able to monetize on technology investments, big picture and vision must exist. The best value of technology is extracted through correct strategy and changes in business model, not just through the rigor of implementation, deployment, and operations. Believing in this, it often requires you to create positive tension and challenge current way of doing the business, either internally or externally, but the end result is always superior ROI and monetization of IT investments. SKILLS: My biggest advantage is also my biggest drawback. Being able to see The Big Picture and to put all pieces of the puzzle together required me to become better listener. I’m not bad in defining strategy, assessing competitive offering, transferring the knowledge, mentoring, supporting and managing international projects and teams. Being able to adopt and work in all segments of the market helped me to become decent communicator and analytical thinker capable of tailoring “the right fit” strategy and solution. PERSONAL: I am fluent in most of Balkan languages. Currently I reside in Prague, always looking for the opportunity to spend time with my big family in one of 3 countries where we live, work or study. I love cooking, free climbing, biking and fishing (spinning) with my family members.
