With over 33 years of dedicated experience as an Electrical Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry, I have developed deep expertise in HSE management, electrical operations, safety auditing, and regulatory compliance. Throughout my career at ONGC, I have held diverse leadership roles spanning onshore and offshore electrical maintenance, contract and procurement management, training and development, and HSE compliance, consistently delivering value by ensuring operational safety and environmental stewardship.As a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Internal auditor certified for ISO have led numerous safety and quality management system audits, helping organizations achieve and maintain critical certifications to meet stringent industry standards. My role as an empanelled external safety auditor for OISD in the Exploration & Production sector and my participation as a committee member for revising OISD standards showcase my commitment to advancing safety best practices nationwide.I have been privileged to serve as a faculty member for reputed institutions like DNV, ATI ONGC Goa, and ONGC Skill Development Centre, where I design and deliver specialized training in electrical safety, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and behavior-based safety. These programs have empowered personnel across the industry to foster safer, more compliant workplaces.My extensive practical experience includes managing complex electrical power generation and distribution systems for offshore platforms like the ONGC BHS complex, overseeing field maintenance for onshore oil installations, and spearheading HSE lead roles for key assets. I have coordinated incident investigations for pipeline leaks and rig accidents, driving critical corrective actions that enhance workplace safety and minimize operational risks.
