Hi There! Thanks for Stopping by. I currently build Machine Vision algorithms and systems for Wabtec KinetiX Inspection Technologies Wayside Products. I carry a baggage of experience in working on variety of Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing problems and an immense exposure to Manufacturing & Industrial Automation Systems. At Cornell, I worked on Semantic search and PII removal tools for conversation transcripts of the Clinic to End Tech Abuse (CETA). My work for CETA helped me to explore, learn and work on a few Natural Language Processing problems (summarization, classification, information extraction, Q&A). Most of my projects are applied, driven by utility over sole emphasis on austere academic excellence. I worked for TATA Steel, Jamshedpur before joining Cornell and have done significant contributions for Continuous Slab Casters and Slab Scarfing Machine units at LD#2 & Slab Caster through enhancing automation systems, equipment efficiency and quality assurance of the Slabs through analytics. I also worked in Automation Division, TATA Steel for a short period and built a vision system from scratch for batch-wise automatic visual inspection of Telescopic Front Fork (TFF) Tubes. I do a lot more, a lot better and at times very little and worse, than the facts that you'll see on my profile.
