Throughout my career, I've evolved from a Mainframe Developer to a Full Stack Developer and eventually into a Release Manager role. My journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of both legacy systems and modern software development practices. Mainframe Developer: I started my career mastering mainframe technologies, ensuring the stability and efficiency of large-scale enterprise systems. My work involved COBOL programming, JCL, and database management, where I optimized performance and reliability. Full Stack Developer: Transitioning to Full Stack Development, I embraced front-end and back-end technologies, gaining expertise in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java. I developed dynamic web applications, leveraging frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js, and honed my skills in agile methodologies. Release Manager: Currently, as a Release Manager, I oversee the software release lifecycle, coordinating across teams to ensure seamless deployment. My role involves risk management, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and maintaining robust communication channels between development, testing, and operations teams. My diverse background allows me to bridge the gap between legacy systems and contemporary technologies, fostering innovation while ensuring stability and efficiency.
