About Srihari Prasad

With nearly two decades of experience in the engineering and project management domain, I have developed a robust skill set in 3D modeling, 2D drafting, design automation, and project execution. My career journey began at DesignTech Systems Private Limited, where I honed my technical expertise and progressively took on more complex projects, eventually leading to a Project Manager role.At DesignTech, I worked on various design projects, including those involving Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software such as Hypermesh, Ideas, and Ansys. One of my notable contributions was to a prestigious science project in India, where I was involved in all stages from concept design to validation and the generation of manufacturing drawings.Later, I collaborated with a Government Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) that manufactures power plant equipment. In this role, I led a design automation project that drastically reduced the time to generate 2D manufacturing drawings from six man-months to just minutes.Subsequently, I transitioned into the Skill Development sector as a Senior Project Manager. I managed Center of Excellence (COE) projects across various states in India. My responsibilities included site requirement document preparation, coordination for equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, recruitment of technical trainers, and conducting Train the Trainer programs. I also ensured smooth interaction with institutes for students' mobilization and successfully handed over the COEs to the respective institutes upon project completion.
