About Srijan Karn

Fueling my passion for technology during my B.Sc in Physics, I immersed myself in courses like Embedded Systems and Digital Signal Processing. One standout project was the creation of a Solar Powered Sine-Wave Invertor, featuring a rechargeable battery pack crafted from discarded laptop lithium-ion cells. Designing the entire invertor circuit on a PCB board, I utilized capacitors, resistors, inductors, and transformers, leveraging my skills in both C++ programming to work with Arduino to maintain a stable 220 V, 50 Hz output. This endeavor exemplifies my proficiency in merging diverse technologies to innovate and address real-world challenges. Passionate about technology and cybersecurity, I started training in CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), compTIAsec+ and CISSP. Covering essential areas of security, including computer network protocols, internet security, network scanning, cryptography, vulnerability assessment, web application penetration testing, risk assessment, identity and access management etc. Being a cybersecurity professional, I'm highly interested in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, risk assessment, network security, threat hunting, open source intelligence, forensics. I tend to dig deep into all the three major aspects of security landscape, i.e, defensive, offensive and compliance. Currently, continuously improving my skills through CTFs, trainings and certifications.
