About Srijit Das

I’m a Quality Engineering leader with ~23 years in BFSI testing—banking, cards/payments, and insurance. Most of my career has been about one thing: helping teams ship confidently, even when the programs are large, deadlines are tight, and the risk is high.I’ve built and scaled automation & performance team practices, set up UAT/TCoE models from scratch, and led multi-geo delivery for large transformation programs. I’m comfortable in the “messy middle” of delivery—aligning business, tech, and QA, creating governance that actually works, and making sure releases move forward with the right evidence. My happy place is where engineering meets quality: automation strategy, framework design, CI/CD-driven regression, and performance engineering. I’ve worked hands-on with Selenium/Playwright and legacy UFT setups, and I’ve used Jenkins pipelines and tools like Dynatrace/Grafana/Zabbix to turn testing outcomes into meaningful release insights.Lately, I’ve been building and learning in the AI space—focused on practical, safe ways to use AI in QA: test case generation, smarter test planning, and AI-augmented automation (not “AI for AI’s sake”).If you’re building a modern Quality Engineering org—or want to scale automation, performance, and governance in BFSI—I’d love to connect.
