About Srinivas Peri

In a runner’s parlance I am experiencing what is called “Second Wind”. It was an exciting time when I started my career in 1995 where your aspirations and expectations were riding high on the new phenomenon called "The Internet". Every day was different and there was something new in the air and a sense of purpose to what you were doing. For eighteen years I played diverse roles and wore many hats across Business Development Account Management and Human resources. Built multiple product and competency teams scaled organizations created alliances and managed million-dollar accounts. I experienced my moment of “Oxygen Debt” in 2011. Every day was a mad rat race with no sense of achievement. Learning had come to a halt and the only motivation for the continued existence as a cubicle dweller was the “Bills to Pay”. In what some termed “Madness” many called “Courageous” I decided to go back to school at 41. I spent the next few years in possibly two of the best melting-pots in the world: Washington DC and Cambridge Massachusetts. Studied Law Policy History Technology Strategy and Economics. Experiencing the world and getting rid of the blinkers enabled me to see things in a new light. It broadened my horizons and opened new vistas. Today back in the industry it is even more heady times. The feeling every morning is again one of infinite possibilities and multitude of options. While a couple of decades ago the future hinged its movements on World Wide Web today it is accelerating forward anchored to multiple exponential technologies: Big data Cloud Edge AI IoT Blockchain Quantum Computing - one can go on. What is inescapable is the nature of change across the spectrum. The skills and competencies required to make sense of this exponential digital social world have undergone a paradigm shift and requires a mindset change to adapt. I hope to enable organisations and individuals undertake this journey and enjoy the fruits of the future.
