About Srinivas Thotakura

Decade back my journey started with embedded systems mini project in my bachelors that created interest in systems and Linux Operating systems. Then Mobile Control Robot project and carrier in Operating systems now path to trending DevOps. Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication gave me lot of options in my career as embedded trainer, Treasury system Development & Management and Linux Engineer. As an Embedded Trainer learned embedded C, micro controller and processors by guiding group of students for their academic projects. Banking sector experiences cultured treasury interfaces and reconciliation systems like Intellimatch, different operating systems and MySQL. Customer interaction in this role is most challenging part to understand non-technical people requirement and implementing interfaces using different technologies. After that, Master Degree in Electronics and Computers strengthened technical skills and created opportunity to work in United States as Linux Engineer and Development. Linux Engineering took my carrier to next level and added new skills to my technical cart. Worked on different operating system upgrades, OS migrations and dockerization of virtual environment. Scripting various automation processes to do roll outs across chain. Excitedly working and learning DevOps (Dockers, automation tools and cloud)
