About Sriram Srinivasan

As the Executive Director at Grant Thornton INDUS, I head the end-to-end responsibilities for the Tax Practice in the Shared Services Center, serving the US clients of Grant Thornton, one of the world's leading professional services firms. I have over 20 years of experience in the corporate and shared services environment, working with globally reputed industry leaders such as PwC and EY. I am also a Certified Public Accountant, an MBA graduate, and a Commerce degree holder, with expertise and exposure to various facets of US business tax, US state and local taxes, US transaction tax, and finance and accounting in the Indian market. I have been instrumental in setting up, scaling up, and improving the operational processes and quality elements of the Shared Services Center, which includes a highly talented team of over 600 professionals. I have developed long-term and short-term strategies for growing the Tax Practice and brought visibility to the India team by winning confidence and trust of the US teams. I have delivered consistently on service and quality metrics, addressed challenges related to talent acquisition and retention, and implemented new systems and process improvements. I have also contributed to the training and development of the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at expected service standards. My mission is to enable and empower the Tax Practice to provide exceptional value to the clients and the organization, while also unleashing their potential and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
