About Srishti Singla

Passionate and result-driven public policy professional dedicated to driving impactful change in society. I have worked as a Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow (MGNF) in Gurdaspur District of Punjab to enhance the skill development ecosystem in the district. The MGNF program, a unique initiative in the development sector, has equipped me with a diverse skill set. I have undergone intensive Classroom Sessions at IIM Ahmedabad, complemented by District Immersion Modules. I have gained invaluable experience in project management, data-driven insights, monitoring and research. In my role, I continuously collaborated with key stakeholders such as the District Collector, district-level officers, Academic Institutions, NGOs, CSR firms, and external stakeholders to implement and streamline District Skill Development initiatives. With a strong passion for public policy, I am committed to learning and shaping my career in this field. Over the course of the two-year fellowship, several of my projects have focused on improving livelihood opportunities for marginalized sections of society, fostering entrepreneurship, and strengthening governance mechanisms. My grassroots-level experience as an MGNF has not only deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by communities but also ignited my enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to social initiatives. I am driven by a strong desire to bring about positive change and leverage my skills to create a more inclusive society.
