About Sruthi Sriram
Sruthi is a formally trained art therapist from Lasalle college of the Arts, Singapore and a Board member of The Art Therapy Association of India (TATAI), formally registered in January 2019. Since her graduation in 2014, she worked closely with a Singapore /Geneva based NGO, where she assumed the role of International Missions Coordinator to develop and deliver humanitarian art therapy missions in APAC-regions and the Middle east from 2015 - 2018. She has experience working on the ground with NGOs, charitable organisations and social initiatives in Philippines, Myanmar, Nepal, India and has coordinated missions in Lebanon and Kurdistan. These projects were designed to address the devastating effects left behind by war, conflict and natural disasters and to assist the survivors in dealing with trauma through tailored art therapy programs. She is fluent in Tamil and English and currently applies art therapy to community welfare and health initiatives in parts of Tamil Nadu. Sruthi has also given performances working under contemporary artists from India and Reunion Islands.
