From childhood days helping my grandmother organize her "heart pills" to chaperoning her to countless doctors visits as a teen to growing a cardiovascular service line, my passion to help others has grown into a career working with teams to drive efficiencies and cost-effective patient care. Successes include: PHYSICIAN COLLABORATION: Led collaboration with physicians to implement and operationalize a multi-practice, multi-specialty Co-Management Agreement with 30+ Surgeons, Proceduralists and Anesthesiologists achieving increased Operating Room first case on-time starts from 65% to 90%, increased patient satisfaction to top decile performance and reduced total expense per case through vendor and supply standardization. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT (200-Bed Community Hospital): Developed service line expansion plan with considerations for Structural Heart Program focused on high quality and good volume for aortic valve replacements enabling implementation of tightly regulated TAVR and Watchman procedures. Led the evaluation, acquisition and implementation of multiple capital expenditure projects to include over $2 million in robotic surgical systems with over 60% current utilization. VOLUME INCREASES: Built relationships with Physician Leaders and showcased top performance in cardiac quality metrics while driving increase in procedure volume of 35% over 5 years, validating investment of over $9 million in facility upgrades. CLINICAL PERFORMANCE METRICS: Achieved 100% compliance on AMI core measures and awarded IBM Watson Top Cardiovascular Hospital designation, 2020 and 2021. Led collaboration with Medical Director and Nurse Manager to achieve year over year growth of outpatient wound center while achieving top decile performance in clinical outcomes and patient experience nationally for 7 straight years, achieving Center of the Year, President’s Circle, Center of Distinction and Center of Excellence.
