With 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, I have honed my skills in customer service, underwriting, product governance, compliance, and management, working for a top MGA. As the current Compliance Director, my main focus is to ensure that the CLS group meets its regulatory obligations and complies with the binding authorities in place with various insurers as an FCA authorised insurance coverholder. I oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that safeguard compliance across the group businesses. Moreover, I am responsible for designing the regulatory training plan for all staff, which helps them stay up to date with the latest requirements.Previously, I managed a team of Express Underwriters who underwrote residential and commercial legal indemnity risks for brokers, conveyancers, and solicitors. I take pride in being an experienced public speaker, aiding legal firms by giving CPD presentations on changes in legislation, regulatory compliance, and legal indemnity policies.
