About Stacey Giesa

I’m an accounting and operations professional who brings structure, clarity, and follow-through to complex, cross-functional work. My background spans accounting operations, indirect tax, process improvement, and adult learning, and I’m most effective where technical detail meets real-world execution. In my work, I support core accounting functions while navigating ambiguity — researching multi-state tax questions, clarifying taxability across products and services, and strengthening documentation, controls, and workflows. I’m often the connection point between accounting, sales, customer service, and operations when complex issues need to be translated into practical guidance teams can use.A consistent theme in my work is making complexity manageable. I enjoy breaking down evolving tax rules, designing clearer processes, and building tools and SOPs that improve consistency, reduce risk, and support confident decision-making.I bring a teaching mindset to everything I do and enjoy explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences. I’m continually building depth through hands-on work and professional development, with a strong interest in indirect tax, compliance, and scalable operational systems.
