About Stacey Hoffe

Situated in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Innu and Inuit, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work as counsellor, trainer, educator, and community leader. Throughout my decade of experience across government, health, and community agencies, I have been deeply influenced by the individuals I have had the privilege to work with and support. Drawing inspiration and wisdom from their resilience and experiences, I have shaped my approach to counseling and leadership, striving to make a positive impact on their lives. Currently, I have the great honour of leading a team of fierce feminists as the Executive Director of Mokami Status of Women Council. In this role, I passionately advocate for gender-based needs and accessible therapeutic services, aiming to empower and uplift our community. My background in trauma-informed practices and extensive experience in individual and group counselling, housing, supportive employment, program development and oversight, has equipped me with the skills to create safe and inclusive spaces for growth and healing. My work is firmly centered in care, and I approach each interaction with compassion and humility. As co-owner of Precipice Counselling, I take immense pride in my ability to forge meaningful connections. These bonds serve as a foundation for facilitating transformative conversations that inspire both individuals and organizations to recognize and unleash their full potential. I firmly believe that through care and connection, we can foster a more resilient and thriving community.
