Proudly, I have had the ability to enact significant change by overseeing and driving final determinations for accommodation decisions, access plans, hardship analysis and fundamental alteration processes for students and visitors, leading teams, conducting initial investigations of complaints regarding retaliation and discrimination and conducing subsequent policy and facility access audits. Facilitates grievances and appeals. Furthermore, directing and providing oversight of workflow, designing, and deploying training modules to University departments, stakeholders, and the surrounding community, and creating and curating annual budget requests. Active role in barrier removal, digital accessibility remediation efforts, assistive technology assessments and procurement process analysis as it pertains to ADA, Section 504, Section 508, and WCAG standards. Career Highlights include: • Led project management efforts for a state-of-the-art phase 1 & 2 ADA renovation of the LA Memorial Coliseum. • Served as a critical advocate and subject matter expert to ensure technology, computer software, and systems were accessible to individuals with disabilities. • Engaged 150+ university event planners and 50+ student event planners by driving the creation, planning, and execution of an accessible events committee. • Pioneered the design, development, training, implementation, and oversight of accommodation practices as they related to online and clinical settings and diversified Learning Management Systems.
