I am an experienced senior customer service and housing professional with over 24 years of experience from both the UK and Australia. I have a passion for making a difference to people’s lives which has always been a focus for me personally. My personal qualities include being highly motivated, enthusiastic, loyal, energetic, positive, and dynamic. I have been successful in culture and change management, leadership with a performance focus and an eye for continuous improvement. I have led strategic reorganisation projects for housing services, employment programs and community development which have all lead to greater outcomes for our customers, increased satisfaction and more financial effectiveness with value for money achieved. I have experience in all aspects of social and affordable housing and have led a wide variety of teams and directorates. I have always been of the belief that housing is the gateway to opportunities for people to reach their own potential and for communities to thrive. At AnglicareSA Housing I have enjoyed the challenge of creating an environment that staff can be proud of their achievements and of their wider impact towards the organisation that we work for and its values. Customer outcomes and services of the highest quality is a motivator to drive forward and continuously improve. We need to ensure that our services are flexible to be able to adapt the ever-changing needs and aspirations of our customers. Efficiency, performance, and quality of service delivered is at the forefront of all we do in AnglicareSA Housing. This has led to many successes including partnership relationships in the energy space with 369Labs, achieving energy efficiency and affordability for our tenants, building large scale affordable housing sites to increase homes in South Australia and creating innovative opportunities for young people transitioning from care services into independent living. Housing availability continues to be a challenge for all in times that are uncertain, and I am committed to doing all I can to advocate that housing for all is the gateway to a successful city and community.
