About Stacey Reed

Passionate about supporting people to be more physically active and empowering communities. A sports development professional with 10 years work experience across schools, sports clubs both voluntary and professional, National Governing Bodies, Leisure Providers and Local Authorities. I am also a keen sportswomen myself having taken part in a range of sporting activities through my lifetime. I love to share the passion of sports through coaching in which I currently hold a coaching qualification in Trampolining, Gymnastics, Pre School Gymnastics, Cycling and Cycling Ride Leader Award. I studied studied Sport, Culture and Society at Sheffield Hallam University in which graduating from University straight into a Sports Development role. I am further developing my sporting knowledge across all sports and supporting community engagement and encouraging behaviour change within communities. I have a real passion for encouraging women to participate in sport and also children and young people who have not had the opportunity to take part in sport & physical activity. Over the next 5 years I will continue to develop and progress in the world of sport development and help encourage more people to see and enjoy the benefits of movement!
