About Stacey Simpson

I've spent a lifetime loving my hometown of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. After spending over 20 years in the North Carolina political scene providing fundraising and consulting services to numerous statewide candidates and breaking the glass ceiling on countless fundraising goals, I needed a change of pace to focus on my family. In January 2019, I joined our family business and completely switched industries. I welcomed the opportunity to become Director of Operations at COVIS, Creating Outdoor Visions in Stone, a hardscaping company. During my time at COVIS, we reach new business goals, increased sales volume and marketing, and grew by over 100%. I've served on many board and committees in the non-profit world over the past 25 years. One leadership position that has been dear to my heart is Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association (FVDA), a 501c3 nonprofit and an accredited North Carolina Main Street community. An opportunity to become Assistant Executive Director of FVDA was presented to me and the rest is history. So thankful for the opportunity to take on a new challenge in a community that I love. Working in the thriving business and residential historic districts of downtown Fuquay-Varina using preservation and education to help grow our community and support the business environment has been exciting and rewarding.
