About Stacey Stevens

I have navigated worlds that weren't designed for people like me - starting as a teen who left home at 15 years old who, with strength & determination, made her way to law school as a 37 year old mom of 2 teens to becoming the senior female partner at my firm. My journey informs my work in personal injury law, where I help clients navigate the complex and often isolating aftermath of a traumatic injury. It has taught me that in life we often face challenges and roads we never expected to travel yet somehow we make it to the other side. My clients face similar journeys. Their lives have been completely changed and they are left alone in a complicated unfamiliar world. For me, my role is to help them find their way back by ensuring they have the support & services they need to recover and ultimately step into their new life with resilience and security. I am also a mentor/inspirational speaker and am committed to empowering young women lawyers and other underrepresented individuals in the legal profession to finally be able to say “I Belong”. By sharing my personal experiences and providing guidance, I aim to create a more inclusive legal landscape that values diverse perspectives and experiences. I understand the challenges of trying to succeed in a world in where you're not sure you belong. I've also had doubts about whether it's possible to fit in to what remains a competitive, patriarchal profession. It’s because I have experienced these challenges first hand that I have been able to develop the skills and strategies needed to ensure I do belong. These are skills and strategies that need to be shared. Now is the time to bring Belonging into our DEI discussions and address the concerns of those on the outside who want not only a seat at the table but also voice in the conversation.
