How did YOU get here! Allow me to share how I got here in 5 easy steps! Step #1: First job. Taco Bell 1987, across the street from MSU campus East Lansing, MI, open 24hrs. When it's 2am, the bars just closed, and there is a line of drunk college students wanting 99 cent tacos, I learned how to organize, manage, delegate, and execute, quickly and efficiently. Step #2: First child 7/5/1992. Muhlenberg Hospital Plainfield, NJ. 23 years old, alone with another human being dependent on you, I had to figure out what would bring stability to our lives- Education. I started with Hotel & Restaurant Management Certification at the local Community College. I then transitioned to major in English at Rutgers University. Step #3: First Hotel Sales. Holiday Inn King of Prussia, PA in When the Catering Sales Manager resigns, and I was eager to learn. I put myself on a path to be mentored by a 20 year vet who instilled in me speaking to people and building relationships are paramount to successful business. Step #4: First pandemic! ConferenceDirect Global Account Executive March 2020. I have a strong desire to use my over 20 years of experience selling to Customers overnight guest rooms and event space. I made a decision to partner with an organization that has been operating since 1998, and is respected worldwide for meetings & events. Step #5: Hotel Task Force/Event Planner September 2022. Independent Contractor. Traveling to different cities, working with so many Clients, making new connections, and learning different markets. While also planning events for special celebrations. I am here! Leveraging my experience in multiple ways by building revenues and creating memories.
