About Stacey Thigpen

About IT Professional with over 26+ years of experience including 23+ years with the largest Retail Convenience Store brand in the world. I get great satisfaction resolving customer issues with a hands-on approach. I'm detail oriented in listening to customer's challenges, learning the true nature of the underlying cause, and legislating viable and timely solutions. I have enjoyed many roles throughout my career in code development, production support, retail field technician, quality assurance, lab support, software automation, and business analysis. My personal and professional experiences have taught me a lot about myself: I enjoy helping people – I volunteered to assist the Production Support Team on many occasions in resolving off-script issues involving disaster recoveries I have very high mechanical aptitude – I have repaired servers, displays, printer, speakers, and various cables in supporting the Quality Assurance Test LABS I have a tendency to expose hidden opportunities – I revealed a hidden wild-card search feature that allowed Store Operators to perform sub-string searches on products. This saved the company hundred of thousand of man hours nationwide. Outside of work I have coached youth sports for over 20 years with the South Arlington Eagles a non-profit organization dedicated to infusing life skills through sports. I also love to repair things from computers, electronic devices, small engines, to automobiles. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives. Reach out to me if you would like to chat.
