About Stacey Thomas

Solid partnerships are the bedrock of any organization’s success story—and this is what I do as an employee benefits professional. With over two decades of experience in employee benefits, I’m a veteran of a continually evolving, highly complex industry. My work centers around developing relationships built on trust to understand my client’s needs, translate their goals into a strategy, and implement systems that support that strategy. A collaborative partner, I work with a high degree of empathy to ask the right questions, uncover potential issues, and create technology-driven solutions. In my role at Willis Towers Watson, I lead a team of analysts and designers to configure and implement benefits systems: this involves large-scale project management and an in-depth knowledge of employee benefits, PPACA/Affordable Care Act and compliance considerations, and UX/UI principles. My years as an account executive gave me a strong foundation in benefits solutions and process improvement, and my favorite projects involve creating a strategy from the ground up. I’m particularly adept at project management, benefits operations leadership, and communications at every level of the organization, and I’m as comfortable speaking to front-line employees as I am presenting to C-suite executives. I also serve as a mentor to junior employees, helping with training and skills development. I’m proud of the relationships I’ve cultivated through my work, and I believe in a high-integrity, people-first approach to business. Clients and colleagues tell me they love my consultative, personable style, and I can make any project fun. Through Lean In, I help other professional women with career development, skills training, and peer-to-peer support. I’m passionate about mentorship, and I’m honored to co-lead a Lean In Circle to support women in reaching their career goals.
