About Stacey Wedding

Over the past 20 years I have worked with hundreds of nonprofits to build their leadership capacity, so they can achieve greater impact. As a management consultant to nonprofits at all stages of organizational development, my specialties include board governance and development, coaching board chairs and executive directors, strategic planning, and storytelling. My career began in the Corporate Communications and Community Relations Department of NV Energy, followed by public relations work at Ballard Communications. Even with a focus on communications and corporate social responsibility strategies for clients, I was still looking for greater connection to the nonprofit sector, which led me to serve as a senior leader at the Nevada Community Foundation for 6+ years. In my role, I worked closely with high net worth individuals and connected them to nonprofits doing critically important work. During my tenure I helped grow the Foundation from $10 million to $30 million. Eventually, the entrepreneurial bug bit, and I founded my company, Professionals in Philanthropy, in 2006.
