Like most Medical Staff Professionals I didn’t set out for a career in medical staff services and like most Medical Staff Professionals I found fulfillment here and stayed; I wanted to learn it all. My commitment to a quality medical staff is unwavering and as Director of Verification Operations, I anchor this commitment by focusing on operations management, documentation, training and quality reviews. I have a larger than average family, with 10 aunts and uncles and countless cousins. I learned swiftly how to communicate with all different personalities. This skill aids my ability to collaborate with physicians, leaders and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis to ensure our community is given access to quality healthcare. Communication along with a thirst for knowledge have fostered my love for documentation and training, which now manifests in process standardization and the Know-Share-Do philosophy; Creating robust training material to empower staff and build a culture of trust and competence.
