About Stacie Nelson

I'm a strategic communications professional with a strong background in simplifying complex information, managing change, and engaging large, diverse audiences across multiple channels. I am passionate about cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, content creation, and change management, using models like ADKAR to guide successful transitions. Over the last eight years at The Ohio State University, I lead communications strategy for major IT initiatives. My work involves everything from writing and editing to digital accessibility and governance strategy. Prior to Ohio State, I spent a decade at Prosper Insights & Analytics, where I led client success, marketing, and training for Fortune 500 clients. I have also managed and mentored team members, developed operational processes, and partnered with leadership to align messaging with organizational goals. Above all else, I am a customer-first collaborator who works hard to make life easier for my colleagues and stakeholders.
