I've worked across media, arts and education organizations helping them realize ambitious programming plans, and cultivate partnerships and engage new audiences. I have significant expertise in narrative storytelling, in development and fundraising, in building trust in hard-to-access communities, in finding and developing talent, and bringing together diverse sets of stakeholders. I have deep roots in public media and audio journalism and education. I love starting and growing stuff. I've edited and produced programming across multiple platforms and in a range of physical spaces- libraries, theaters, hospitals, museums, classrooms, houses of worship etc. At the heart of my work is a passion for storytelling that brings people together, fosters empathy, creates connection and helps to bridge divides. I've edited and reported stories for Bright at Medium, The New York Times, Open Letters Harpers, ProPublica, the New York Observer and Guilt & Pleasure Magazine.
