Highly skilled Office Administrator with over 18 years' experience in the non-profit sector. Applying my BS in Child Development and Family Relations, I began my career with TSA as the Assistant Director of The Fairfax Salvation Army Child Development Center. Progressing to Center Director, I developed and opened a new toddler program, expanded the before and after school programs, and more than doubled Center enrollment. Since 2008, I have been engaged in the Administration of The Fairfax Salvation Army and currently serve in the role of Office Administrator. My responsibilities include: General Administration of functional activities supporting - Social Services financial disbursements to qualified individuals- Weekly food distribution to those in need- Volunteer and project management- Children’s Programming including After School Programs and Summer Camps. Payroll Administration and Human Resources - Utilizing the Ceridian Day Force system- Processing of new hire paperwork- Conducting on-boarding, new hire orientation, and maintenance of personnel files. Advisory Board -Participate in scheduling, building agendas, attendance, compiling and distributing meeting minutes, liaising with Board. Development and Donor Engagement - Annual “Team Up 5K” Committee Leader 2019 - 2024. Leads team that plans and implements this annual fundraising activity which has raised over becoming the most successful single-site fundraiser in TSA National Capital Region. Event planning - Contribute to annual planning and execution of events including Volunteer Luncheon, Children’s Tea Party, Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show, and EDS Training/Recruitment Events. Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services – Potomac Division - Co-Lead of Fairfax County Salvation Army EDS Team. Personally trained in: Safe From Harm, ServSafe Food Handler, Disaster Food Service and Canteen Operations, All Hazards Facility Preparedness Planning, Emergency Assistance in Disaster Operations, Logistics, Finance and Administration, and Safety Officer Training. 2023 - TSA Liaison to Fairfax County Department of Emergency Management. January 2021 deployed to serve National Guard Units responding to The January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol. March 2020 – June 2024 Covid-19 FX EDS Disaster Service Response. Estimate over 2 million meals served. May 2019 - Delegate to TSA Southern Territory EDS Training Summit Dallas, TX. September 2017 deployed to Savanah in response to Hurricane Irma.
