About Stacy Collier

Greetings,I am a Northwestern Michigan College graduate with academics related to unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) in the engineering technology field. For unmanned flight proficiency I fly a DJI Mavic pro for recreational and Commercial purposes in the Grand Traverse area. I do have hours as a pilot-in-command flying a Cessna 172/G, but my primary focus is on the unmanned side of aviation. My experience with unmanned aerial systems include platforms ranging from fixed wing to multi-rotor aircraft with studies involving the build and calibration of multi-rotor aircraft such as the DJI flamewheel. I have a passion for building small model aircraft and working with autopilots such as the Pixhawk v1-4, Skycatch, and Piccolo Cloudclap. Photography and cinematography is my basic workflow, but I am engaged in inspection work, RTK mapping, and agriculture. I am also a part 107 remote pilot-in-command certificate holder and AOPA member.
