About Stacy Dwyer

I believe in random acts of kindness, holding myself to a high standard, and that any job worth doing is worth doing well. About a third of any given day is devoted to one’s professional life, so it should be as positive of an experience as possible for all involved or impacted by it.I am currently employed as a Project Manager based at the Denver, CO office of National CineMedia.I previously was a Project Manager at Environmental Resources Management (ERM); specializing in Stormwater Permitting, Compliance, Waste Management, and Remediation. In my role of project manager I schedule events, align resourcing needs with team's availability, organize multiple overlapping tasks, track and produce deliverables. I also act as a mentor to less experienced staff and communicate regularly with my team.Prior to ERM, I was employed as an Associate Geologist at Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc (GES). In my experience with this company, I created and reviewed field information, organized analytical data, and wrote regulatory reports. In my roll at GES I also provide field services, which include performing environmental investigations and monitoring remediation systems. Representative projects are as follows: extensive monitoring activities at retail petroleum stations, regulatory compliance for petroleum leaking UST Sites, and remediation system field services.I have five and a half years of formal undergraduate and graduate education. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts and Sciences double majoring both in Geology and Earth Systems, Environment, and Society. After leaving my graduate program at Rice University, I saught a geoscientist or environmental scientist position to start my professional career. Although these two disciplines may seem at odds with each other I have found that they greatly overlap.I have enthusiasm to find unique and intelligent solutions to challenging problems. I am a very passionate individual and know that I can become extremely proficient at new things in a short time. Any experience that I may lack of, I more than make up for in energy and inclination to succeed.
