I have over 10 years experience working in the Human Resource field. I have progressively moved up from a Human Resource Assistant to a Human Resource and Safety Manager. My current company calls on me to fill in at other facilities remotely and in person when needed because they know that I can handle any curve ball thrown at me. I currently oversee all HR functions as the sole HR professional for over 100 employees in a manufacturing facility where we have not had a workmen's compensation claim in over three years. I play an active role in creating a safer working environment for my employees. I also am in charge of payroll, the onboarding process, recruiting, OSHA logs, FMLA, ADA compliance, writing policies, implementing policies, garnishments, attendance, I9's, Internal investigations, as well as quickly and efficiently responding to any issues or conflicts that may happen in the plant. I make sound decisions using appropriate, unbiased information. I look for opportunities to train employees and make the atmosphere and moral better for everyone.
