About Stacy Turner

I have background and experience in multiple areas of discipline including: accounting, banking, event coordination and management, hospitality, and marketing/promotions. Having experience in diverse areas has allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge in learning new tasks while adapting to an ever-changing environment. My education includes a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina in Sport and Entertainment Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of West Georgia. I became an Accounting Specialist with Carolinas Credit Union League in September of 2019. My job responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, journal entry postings, final data entry for balance sheet and income statements and preparing quarterly call reports for multiple credit unions. My previous employer was ANB Bank where I began as a Universal Banker and was promoted after only six months to Branch Coordinator which allowed me to expand my banking skills and knowledge. As the Branch Coordinator, I was able to coach and train eight tellers while being their direct line of supervision. I also gained additional tasks and responsibilities including: performing monthly cash drawers audits, preparation of monthly and quarterly audit packets, and ordering cash shipments bi-weekly for five branches. An additional previous position was with Georgia Southern University as an Accounting Assistant. I provided financial/accounting support to the Business Manager including monthly reconciliations, reviewing paperwork, processing payments, daily deposits, budget maintenance, and invoicing. I also held responsibilities as it relates to our registration process. Some of those duties included managing all Conferences, Programs, and Classes through our registration system, Cvent, creating and maintaining all programs and registrations, printing name tags and sign in sheets, and budget oversight.
