About Stacy Viegas

I have worked in the graphic design industry for several years. Throughout that time, I acquired various skills in photography, copywriting, and sign-making. Currently, I work as an art and design teacher for high school students. My ideal work environment would be one in which I can build a strong community of learners who use art, design, and technology to explore and interpret the world around them, as well as to discover who they are as individual artists. I foster a respectful environment in the classroom where everyone feels accepted and capable of working collaboratively, sharing opinions, and taking artistic risks. My latest art and design projects include ceramics, self-portraits, wedding invitations, menus, brochures, indoor/outdoor signage, and vehicle wraps. I have also designed home decor packaging for brands such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Goods, Kohl's, Lowe's, and Walmart.
