About Stacy Wagner

My work experience incudes 32 years (primarily in real estate) as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for a small local law firm. In 2020 in addition to continuing work at the law firm, I began working as the Local Representative for a renewable energy project being developed in my home county. Good Steward Consulting was working with the developer on the project. When presented with the opportunity to make a career change, I joined the Good Steward Consulting (GSC) Team full time as a Communications Associate. I am currently a Senior Communications Manager, managing project area communications, consulting and assisting my clients with event planning and community engagement on 10 projects, four of which are in mid to late-stage construction. I have worked on projects across four different states in the Midwest. My experience is primarily in solar but I have some experience in wind and a project that plans to incorporate BESS. My current historical career stats include having worked on 18+ projects, representing over 4 gigawatts of renewable energy, working alongside Teams from 6 different developers. I am not afraid of a challenge, and believe my rural, small-town background has instilled in me the ability to easily build relationships with landowners, clients, and team members. Some renewable energy projects never make it to the finish line. In my role, I hold the unique experience of being able to be involved in a project from land acquisition to ribbon cutting, which has given me a wealth of experience and knowledge on what it takes to see a project through to operation. I take great pride in the knowledge I have been able to gain and in being able to share that experience with others.
