My earlier career includes over 13 years with the City of Mount Vernon, NY, where I managed accounts receivable and property tax collection. In that capacity, I served as the primary contact for homeowners, title companies, banks, and mortgage brokers, assisting with tax payments, resolving grievances, and ensuring accurate municipal reporting. This role strengthened my attention to detail and client service skills, especially when dealing with sensitive financial data and high-stakes timelines.
