About Stan Arthur

You want content? In the last year alone, I delivered 152 marketing and educational videos for my employer. I've spent over two decades learning the art and technology of digital filmmaking. When I'm not at Stetson Law creating marketing videos, web features, and distance learning modules, I'm creating biographical documentaries about people who inspire me, like civil rights worker Edward Wood in Anniston, Alabama, and retired US Army Ranger Gary Horton. My 2013 film,"Making Waste - How One Man Made a Movie and Ruined His Life", won best director at Atlanta DocuFest and best documentary at the Treasure Coast Film Festival. In 2007, I was one of five finalists in a nationwide filmmaking contest with executive producer Spike Lee. I spent the first 13 years of my adult life traveling the US and Canada as a musician and entertainer with Young American Showcase, under the mentorship of the incredible Lowell Lytle (Diving Into the Deep, © 2014 EnCourage Books). I continue to stay very active in the Tampa Bay music scene. I've played for Big Brother, The Red Sunday, More is More, The Impacs and others. I completed my fifth documentary,"AT RISK" in January 2015, dealing with at-risk children, human trafficking, the school-to-prison pipeline, and mentoring youth, seen through the eyes of five people who are making a difference. It was an official selection of the 2015 Skyway Film Festival in Bradenton, Florida, and available on-demand on YouTube. In 2009, I created the I Love St. Pete Facebook group that achieved members in 2022. Through this group, people have found jobs, places to live and made long-lasting real-world friendships. My ILSP key tag program entitles group members to discounts at more than 300 different merchants in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2020, I created the I Love St Pete Emergency Relief Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity that gives financial assistance to local people. In 2015, I was asked to be the LinkedIn Adobe Premiere group manager with over members, where I am a top contributor. Since 2011, I have created close to 50 Adobe Premiere Pro tutorials on YouTube that have been watched over half a million times. I'm accomplished in all areas of digital film production from scripting to deliverables.
