About Stan de Valk

After finishing my bachelor degree in International Communication, I decided to move to Barcelona to start a new adventure at the start of 2020. Here I found a job as a consultant in Google Ads in which I've learned a lot about businesses in general, digital paid marketing as well as more Google products. Teaching and introducing new people in my team and assisting them in getting used to their new role, sharing knowledge and leading, became something I found myself enjoying. This led me to the decision to focus on my personal development in becoming a Sales team lead which I became not much later in the Google Cloud project. Currently leading a team for the Northern European market of 13 people and responsible for generating sales qualified leads for Google, hitting a quarterly revenue target and making sure all members are happy in their position and the company. Working with many different cultures within my team is something I very much enjoy. Keeping all stakeholders' interests in mind, keeping the team culture on a good level, hitting revenue and lead targets and continuously improving workflow are all part of my current role in which I feel confident. Other interests and work experience I have include: Localization, translation, SEO (basic), copy writing, customer success, reporting and conducting market research.
