About Stan Dotson

I advise startups and businesses leverage technology-enabled platform strategies to create integrated products and services, enhance customer engagement and unlock new growth. I have a PhD and a MS in Genetics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a BS in Bioagricultural Sciences from Colorado State University. I have over 30 years of experience in both Agriculture and Pharma in the fields of genetics, biotechnology, and data science. I am an inventor on over 70 patents and/or patent applications. As an Advisory Board Member for startups in Agriculture, I apply my domain expertise in agribusiness and ag ecosystems to support the development and adoption of innovative solutions that improve the efficiency, sustainability, and health of our food supply. I advise network participants on how to use spatial data platforms, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT to create digital twins, enable better information exchange, and facilitate decision-making across the supply chain. I am passionate about working with technologists, business leaders, and investors to deliver innovative products in unmet market spaces. As a Technology Consultant and Expert Witness to the life science industry, I leverage my detailed knowledge of genomics and breeding technologies to help companies secure an intellectual property advantage.
