About Stan Elder

I was once told to find what you love and do that for a living and you'll never work a day in your life. Well, I am passionate about HSE and love what I do! With years of experience developing and managing HSE systems in both Canada and the US, improving programs such as Incident Management, Training, Asset Management, and overall Process, I continually strive for efficiency and have a keen eye for detail and strategic organization. I am able to maintain these efficiencies through diligence, coaching, and creating accountability and buy-in with the stakeholders I aim to influence. I have been able to consistently demonstrate program effectiveness through improved employee awareness, reduced incidents, reduced costs and top-tier Worker's Compensation and Registry/COR auditing. These efforts have guided employers to achieving top ranked performance within their industry. As an OHSMS auditor, my attention to detail and desire learn, while believing firmly in the continuous improvement process, has received recognition from employers, and regulatory Certifying Partners for both my OHSMS audit achieving 100% and for the quality and detail of the audit reports submitted. As my HSE experience, Trades background & Project Management education demontrate, I believe in personal growth and taking every opportunity to learn so I can offer more to others. A benefit of my experience and exceptional inter-personal skills, is that I am capable of conversing with anyone, which is an important part of building the relationships required to be a trusted resource and peer. I have high standards and work ethic, am adaptable, a fast learner, frequently exceed expectation and am capable of coaching & influencing others while requiring little to no supervision/direction to obtain results. My firm but fair approach has brought me respect and success in my career to date and I am looking forward to the future!
