About Stan Evenson

Stan Evenson has been the CEO and Creative Director at Evenson Design Group (EDG) for the past 37+ years. After graduating from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in 1974, he was immediately hired by his former professor to join their creative team at A&M Records. Stan initially designed album covers and music industry advertising for rock and roll and jazz greats such as Peter Frampton, Steve Miller, Tom Petty, Joe Cocker, Carly Simon, Tina Turner and the late Dave Brubeck, to name a few. Since those early days of rock and roll, Stan has successfully continued to build brands for major companies including NFL’s New England Patriots, Honda, Epson, Apple, Toyota, Disney, Fox, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers and USC’s Shoah Foundation. In addition to having three of his design pieces selected to be in the Permanent Collection of the Library of Congress, Stan is honored to have amassed countless design and creative direction awards over the years. He also served as the President of AIGA LA (The Professional Association for Design) and was the Co-Chair with his wife, Tricia Evenson, for the 2011 AIGA (Re)DesignAwards, an international design contest acknowledging the best design thinking in sustainability and social responsibility. Stan has a passionate commitment to bringing his collaborative spirit, creative mind, keen listening and his infectious sense of humor to each project, and is committed to making a difference in the world by his work and personal connections he makes along the way.
