About Stan Hamrick

Stan is a proven urban planner and public sector leader with work in over thirty communities creating and implementing development policies and processes in a timely manner. As both city staff and as a consultant he has helped to develop over twenty-five community plans and over twenty-five development regulation updates in communities ranging in size from Fort Worth to Ovilla. Stan has served as a staff member or as contracted staff extension in eight communities around Texas, and has also provided Geographic Information System service as well. Additionally, he has been a speaker and instructor at numerous local and state events including the Texas American Planning Association Conference, the Texas Forest Service Changing Roles Conference, and the Freese and Nichols University. When Stan is not helping communities plan their future he is volunteering as both a leader and a trainer with youth programs that promote outdoor activities and citizenship.
