About Stan Redding

The past 18 years I had an opportunity to work for a company of powerhouse brands (Stetson. Resistol, Hatco). After leaving a few years of western retail service I worked as a traveling account manager on the West Coast for Stetson Hat Company. I began my travels with a $750 thousand territory. Five years later, I resigned in order to move my family back to Texas, leaving the same territory with shipments of $3.2 million. I traveled Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico for Vogt Silversmiths for 1 1/2 years. I was approached again by Hatco to join management as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Garland, Texas. I accepted the position and remained there for almost ten years. All sales reps reported to me, as well as product development and customer service. I implemented sales strategies, dating programs as well as completed all pricing of hat lines (western and dress). In 2010 Hatco underwent an acquisition of which I was a key component. I was promoted to President at that time. I implemented strategic processes to improve profitability as quickly as possible. At the end of 2010 I hired a new CFO. In the next two years the company had a $4 million bottom line improvement. Over the next 1 1/2 years the company's continued growth led to double digit percentage growth in 2013. I resigned my position with Hatco effective January 27th, 2014 in order to pursue new opportunities.
