About Stanislas Galbaud

I am a medical doctor with a Master’s in Clinical Medicine and over a decade of experience in global health, with core expertise in HIV/AIDS programs, quality assurance, and health systems strengthening—including supply chain operations. In my current role as HIV/AIDS Quality Assurance Advisor at USAID/Haiti, I provide strategic and technical leadership to enhance the effectiveness of national HIV programs. I contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of interventions focused on treatment retention, viral load suppression, and program quality. I also support efforts to ensure consistent access to life-saving commodities by overseeing aspects of the HIV supply chain and helping to address operational and logistical challenges in a fragile context. My professional journey has taken me through key roles in care and treatment, monitoring and evaluation, clinical research, and health program coordination. I’ve collaborated with government counterparts, international partners, and civil society to drive results, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen local capacity. I’ve been honored with multiple USAID and State department awards for leadership, technical excellence, and my contributions to emergency responses and PEPFAR planning. I’m passionate about building resilient health systems and advancing equitable access to care.
